Andrew is a twenty-two year old Canadian studying in Québec at McGill University as a graduate student in pharmacology. Andrew channels his advocacy into proceedings within Canada with the goal to raise the issue of non-therapeutic genital cutting with medical regulatory bodies and the justice system. He is a self-represented plaintiff in an ongoing civil lawsuit against the obstetrician and hospital involved in his personal story. He aims to challenge the gratuitous, privileged immunity of non-consensual genital cutting by confronting the establishments that allow it to persist.
