GALDEF accepts Cryptocurrency and Stock/ETF/Mutual Fund donations through Endaoment, a non-profit platform specifically designed to support the charitable giving of these assets. The IRS considers cryptocurrency property. It also treats donations of appreciated stock as a means to lower your capital gains tax liability. These are both tax efficient ways to support GALDEF. Endaoment’s transaction cost is an industry low 1.5% donor fee and is free to our organization.
