Two recently published articles document the rich innervation of the human penis and prepuce, as well as the impressive surface area of the adult prepuce. Alfonso Cepeda-Emiliani’s team studied the innervation patterns of the penis in “The Sensory Penis” and identified the male “G spot” consisting of the frenular delta, which was published in the journal Andrology; while the team lead by Guido Hegazy published “Calculating Foreskin Surface Area” in the International Journal of Impotence Research, which dispels the false belief that circumcision involves a minor “snip.” News of Cepeda-Emiliani’s work was picked by the popular press, including BritBriefVTDaily Mail, and some outlets like Vice and  Bode Living, even mentioning the destruction of this “G spot” caused by circumcision.

In 2023 GALDEF Executive Director Tim Hammond coined the term “male F-spot” to describe the area of the penis consisting of the foreskin, frenulum and frenular delta.

Taken together, these two articles document the significance of the human penile prepuce to sexual sensation and experiences and, by implication, the long-term harm of forced childhood circumcision.
