The recent atrocities perpetrated against Israeli and American citizens by Hamas terrorists – ostensibly on behalf of the Palestinian people – are becoming clearer every day. GALDEF believes that the taking of civilian hostages and the premeditated murder of innocent men, women and children, including infants and the elderly, can never be morally justified.

GALDEF denounces these crimes against humanity that began on October 7, 2023.

Wholesale and indiscriminate violence targeting entire populations is not only unacceptable and immoral, but a violation of international covenants governing conduct during times of war.

We stand in solidarity with those affected, directly or indirectly, by these tragedies. We appeal to all parties in this conflict to adhere to the dictates of international law and to respect the lives and safety of innocent civilians.
