Age 73+ with an IRA? You can now donate to GALDEF via your Required Minimum Distribution.

If you have an IRA account and are age 73 or better (75 if you were born in 1960 or later), the Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) rule likely applies to your account or an inherited account. This rule requires that a minimum amount be withdrawn from your account each year. If you don’t need all of the withdrawn funds, this rule provides an opportunity to designate part or all of your RMD as a Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD) to an eligible charity that you care about. To learn more, read this brief overview that explains Required Minimum Distributions and provides instructions on how to donate part or all of your RMD each year to GALDEF.
